MetroHealth needed a more vibrant, dynamic brand for their Cleveland, OH, healthcare system. They wanted something that would be diverse, a graphic approach that could be adapted easily and with flexibility across a wide array of marketing materials. I worked with the Atlanta ad agency, Frederick Swanston, to create these design concepts for MetroHealth System branding. We created what we call the graphic burst that can be used in a rainbow of colors, fewer colors, or transparent whites. The graphic burst adds a feeling of liveliness and optimism, and calls attention to a particular segment of the photo or text.
